We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Research Nurse 1 to join our team at the University of Miami/UHealth Department of SCCC. As a Clinical Trials Nurse, you will play a critical role in the recruitment of participants and achievement of research objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service.
- Ensure population-specific patient care and compliance with the research protocol in an ambulatory setting.
- Recruit and enroll participants in clinical trials, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
- Collaborate with the Investigator, protocol University Clinical Research Staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and clinical staff regarding clinical trials, treatment options, and research-related interventions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, research data, and study-related activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and research outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Current Valid Florida Registered Nurse license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers Certification.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers Certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
