Dermatology Specialist in Milford, OH

Optima Dermatology is seeking a skilled dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Milford, OH.
You will be supported by a dedicated practice management team, clinical staff, and back-office teams, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
This position will be supervised by a board-certified dermatologist.
Position Details:

Responsibilities:
- Build and retain relationships with patients by treating them with respect and compassion
- Provide outstanding dermatology care to patients with a wide range of skin care needs
- Determine appropriate treatment courses through patient consultations and physical examinations
- Educate patients about their skin conditions, treatments, and best practices for skin cancer prevention
- Develop expert knowledge of skin ailments, treatments, and products through training and learning opportunities
- Consult with physicians on treatment protocols and refer patients to specialists as needed
- Prescribe medications as necessary and record medical information in the practice's medical records system
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Frequently fill in for other providers or float to other locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Partner-oriented with a positive attitude and strong listening skills
- Excellent customer service skills and bedside manner
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Well-organized and efficient with the ability to operate in a busy work environment
- Passion for helping patients and providing great care
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
