About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Specialist to join our team at Energy Transfer. As a GIS Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing, deploying, and maintaining our Enterprise GIS System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of GIS systems, applications, and reports.
  • Ensure system reliability and data integrity for the Enterprise GIS System.
  • Participate in Regulatory Audit activities.
  • Support mapping services to business units and provide technical expertise to managers.
  • Perform geospatial overlays to create data sets for ad-hoc data requests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in GIS or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience with ESRI ArcGIS Platform.
  • Thorough understanding of Class and HCA/MCA calculations as they apply to CFR Parts 192 and 195.
  • Knowledge of ESRI's ArcGIS 10.x Desktop Software, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online.
  • An in-depth understanding of pipeline systems and Microsoft Office Products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SQL database language and database manipulation.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, and database management systems.
  • Knowledge of FME software and data ETL functions.
  • Familiarity with ESRI Model Builder.
Working Conditions

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

Usually, normal office working conditions. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
