Job Title: Transportation Infrastructure Specialist

PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Transportation Infrastructure Specialist in our Kentucky offices. The primary focus of this role will be to perform drainage engineering design for our diverse clientele supporting KYTC projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the design team to develop engineered solutions for various clients.
  • Perform drainage design to include hydrology, hydraulics, modeling, estimating, quantity calculation, technical reports, plan details, and detailed engineering analyses.
  • Utilize CAD design software such as ORD and Civil 3D for design and plan production.
  • Perform field visits for ongoing design projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
  • EIT preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in horizontal structural engineering in a professional setting.
  • Experience working with MicroStation, and/or AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with AASHTO, KYTC, MUTCD, and ADA regulations.
  • Strong oral and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments.
