Accounting Specialist for Healthcare Industry

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Assistant to join our team at an industry-leading healthcare organization in Seattle, WA. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive compensation package and a chance to work with a dynamic team.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $32.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on experience. The benefits include medical, dental, 401(k) matching, and PTO.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry and invoice processing.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and maintain accurate records, providing insights for business decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Experience in supplier partnerships and knowledge of accounting software.
