Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to join our team as a Field Diesel Mechanic. As a Field Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of complex equipment with limited or no supervision in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner. You will travel to customer job sites to repair and maintain rental or customer-owned equipment, and will be required to maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment with limited or no supervision
  • Travel to customer job sites to repair and maintain rental or customer-owned equipment
  • Maintain a clean and professional service vehicle
  • Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed
  • Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed
  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • 5+ years of experience repairing and maintaining equipment and tools
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
  • Must own tools applicable to position
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills
