Job Description

MANCON, LLC is seeking a skilled Parts Specialist I to provide exceptional counter service to VDOT employees. The ideal candidate will assist with inventory control, data entry, customer service, and occasional vehicle operation to pick up parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service, including attention to detail and adherence to product catalogs and safety manuals.
  • Review requisition forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Answer questions regarding part availability and ensure correct parts are researched and provided.
  • Drive vehicles to designated locations to purchase or pick up parts, providing necessary documentation to vendors.
  • Assist with generating invoices and entering vendor receiving documents in the inventory system.
  • Participate in weekly inventory cycle counts and Wall-to-Wall inventories at site.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of computer experience.
  • 24-hour availability.
  • Valid driver's license with 2 years of driving experience.
  • 1 year of experience with auto or heavy-duty truck parts.

Physical Requirements:

Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Background Checks:

Credit check, criminal check, DMV check, and VDOT fingerprint background check.
