Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion.
- Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Monitor patients' conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the RN in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting patient-centered care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a positive and respectful environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
- Graduate of a practical nursing program.
- Current Florida LPN license or endorsement.
- Must hold current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintain.
- Must hold Florida State approved 30 hour IV Certification which contains the minimum 4 hours of instruction relevant to central lines within 6 months of hire.
- Certification(s) as required by specific unit.
- Physically agile, with ability to walk, stand, run, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, or crouch frequently.
- Medium work, including lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, with or without assistance.
- May require moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces.
