Work Environment

Our facility boasts a clean, bright, and well-ventilated workspace, equipped with modern amenities including fitness centers and convenient access to food services.

Initially, you will work a standard Monday to Friday day shift, transitioning to a rotating schedule as production demands increase.

Candidate Profile

Essential Attributes:

  • Strong organizational skills: Maintain an orderly workspace and manage supplies effectively.
  • Problem-solving abilities: Understand machinery operations and their impact on production quality.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth production processes and assist in training new hires.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to engage in various tasks across the facility, including basic maintenance.
  • Time management: Proactively identify and complete necessary tasks with minimal supervision.

Position Responsibilities

As a member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing, installing, and repairing complex electrical systems.
  • Conducting routine maintenance on all manufacturing equipment.
  • Assisting in operator training for maintenance-related tasks.
  • Collaborating with operators to troubleshoot machinery and enhance product quality.
  • Identifying trends in equipment performance to reduce repetitive repairs.
  • Overseeing the installation of new equipment and upgrades.
  • Managing spare parts inventory and documentation of maintenance activities.
  • Promoting safe work practices at all times.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Certification or degree in electrical or electronics trade.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Familiarity with 480V 3-phase power systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Experience with fork truck operation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Possession of a North Carolina electrical license.

Working Conditions:

  • 8-hour shifts with flexible scheduling.
  • Primarily on the plant floor with some office tasks.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
  • Physical demands include lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
