- Lead and Direct: Provide guidance and direction to auxiliary staff, participate in report meetings, and communicate effectively with residents, guardians, and family members.
- Preventative Measures: Ensure preventative measures are in place, such as specialty mattresses, foam boots, and regular skin checks, to promote resident comfort and well-being.
- End-of-Life Care: Provide quality end-of-life care, using comfort baskets to meet resident and family needs, and ensuring hygiene, comfort, and spiritual needs are met.
- Compliance and Safety: Respond promptly to alarms, ensure restraint alternatives are in place, and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensing.
- Experience: No experience required.
- Constant Use of Speech: Share information through oral communication.
- Constant Standing and Walking: Perform tasks that require standing and walking.
- Frequent Lifting and Carrying: Lift and carry objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent Sitting and Keyboard Use: Perform tasks that require sitting and keyboard use.
- Basic Life Support: Hold a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Registered Nurse: Hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state of work location or a compact multi-state license.
