We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at QCHC. As a RN Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide direct patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Valid and current Nursing License from the state of employment.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing practice, with 1-2 years of administrative/management experience preferred.
- One year of experience in correctional healthcare preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate of $32.00.
