Join Midwest Logistic Systems as a Trailer Technician and take on a challenging role that requires technical expertise and problem-solving skills. As a Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine repairs on company trailers, handling annual inspections and preventative maintenance, and completing troubleshooting and component replacements. Your duties will include diagnosing and repairing minor trailer electrical systems, completing routine rebuilds and replacements, and communicating status updates with internal customers. You will also use computer systems to accurately track repair times, parts used, and work completed. To be successful in this role, you will need a technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, a minimum of 2 years of trailer technician experience, basic welding skills, and experience with computer systems. Additionally, you will need to be Vehicle and Brake Inspector Certified and able to provide your own tools within 30 days of hire.
