Trailer Technician

Location: Upton, KY

Shift: 2nd Shift

Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday-Friday 2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m.

Job overview:

  • Perform routine repairs on company trailers as a Trailer Technician in Upton.
  • Handle annual inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Complete troubleshooting and component replacements.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair minor trailer electrical systems.
  • Complete routine rebuilds and replacements.
  • Communicate status updates with internal customers.
  • Use computer systems to accurately track repair times, parts used and work completed.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems.
  • A minimum of 2 years of trailer technician experience.
  • Basic welding skills preferred.
  • Experience with computer systems.
  • Vehicle and Brake Inspector Certified.
  • Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
