Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments of assigned portfolios, evaluating credit quality, credit processes, and risk management practices.
- Perform ongoing credit risk monitoring and testing to identify emerging risks and trends.
- Develop and implement risk-based desk testing and review processes to ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to identify and address credit risk issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to credit underwriting and approval units on credit policies and control procedures.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk portfolio management, credit administration, loan origination, and/or credit analysis.
- Advanced level experience in Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify emerging risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or lending in a variety of industry types.
- Previous credit review experience.
- Highly conversant in GAAP financial principles.
- Broad knowledge of corporate finance concepts and theories.
