Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled Pit Technician to join our team at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers. As a Pit Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and lubricating vehicles in a quick and efficient manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Perform multi-point inspections to identify potential issues
- Advise service consultants on additional work needed
- Service grease fittings, universal joints, and steering knuckles
- Inspect fluid levels of rear differential and rear axle housings
- Identify and recommend additional repairs as needed
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is desired but not required
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
This role requires prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending, as well as exerting force to move objects. You must be able to work at a production rate pace and be able to push and/or pull materials as needed.
