About the Role

As an Equipment Technician in our Anesthesia Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing waste.
  • Turnover and Cleaning: Assist with the turnover of anesthesia equipment between surgical cases, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Supply Coordination: Coordinate the delivery of equipment and supplies to the Anesthesia Department, interacting with nurses and other staff to resolve any issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Apply the principles of Asepsis and Universal Precautions to all duties, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Basic computer and math skills, knowledge of common hospital equipment used in patient care, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in an acute care setting preferred.
