Riverview Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. You will work under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, and will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting care for patients. In the absence of a supervisor, you may be assigned as Lead RCP, having responsibility for the section or department during your shift. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License, a current BCLS (AHA) certificate, and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). You will also need to have 2 years of experience as an RCP, and certifications in ACLS, NRP, and PALS. An Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
