Key Responsibilities:- Manage hazardous and non-hazardous medication inventory, collaborating with the Pharmacy Supply Chain team to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Review expiration dates regularly to prevent errors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare compounded sterile preparations using aseptic techniques and adhering to USP 797, USP 800, and other applicable regulations.
- Communicate effectively with practice staff regarding medication availability and delays to coordinate patient appointments and prior authorizations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, verifying that supplies are within date and stored properly.
- Order, receive, and restock CSP supplies to meet daily demands of the pharmacy.
- Orient and train new pharmacy personnel to ensure seamless onboarding and high-quality patient care.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of pharmacy experience required.
- At least 1 year of experience in infusion or hospital pharmacy preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in sterile compounding preferred.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required, unless enrolled in a PharmD program.
