CNC Mill Turn Programmer Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Turn Programmer with expertise in Esprit programming and a strong background in 4 and 5-axis machining.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Program and operate CNC Mill Turn machines, particularly twin spindle lathes with lower lathe turret and upper B-axis milling spindle.
  • Utilize A-axis (sub-spindle) to pick off parts from main to sub spindle.

Familiarity with Equipment: Mori Seiki MT 2500, DMG Mori 4250, and Akuma Mac Turn 350.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Esprit programming for Mill Turn machines.
  • 4 and 5-axis machining experience.
  • Experience with full 5-axis machines and 3+2 positioning.
  • Understanding of dynamic toolpath features in Esprit.
  • Knowledge of sync codes for timing between B-axis milling and lower lathe turret.
  • Familiarity with twin spindle lathes and lower lathe turret operations.

Preferred Skills:

  • 4340 milling material experience.
  • Knowledge of 5-axis and 3+2 programming.

Estimated Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
