About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications using Python, SAS, and SQL in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize software applications using Python, SAS, and SQL
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design efficient solutions
  • Convert code between Python, SAS, and SQL to support data processing and analytics tasks
  • Optimize and integrate software applications with cloud services and platforms
  • Conduct code reviews, identify and resolve technical issues, and ensure code quality and performance
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in software engineering and cloud computing
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with high-level proficiency and expertise in Python, SAS, and SQL
  • Familiarity with data processing, analytics, and database concepts
  • Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Strong ability to convert code between Python, SAS, and SQL
  • Experience with Google BigQuery
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
