Job Overview:

A highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse is sought to lead the postpartum/mother baby unit at Ascension Saint Agnes. As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a team of healthcare professionals. With your expertise and leadership skills, you will drive clinical excellence and promote a culture of safety and respect.

About the Role:

This is a full-time night shift position with rotating weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have experience in maternal-newborn nursing and excellent leadership skills. You will work closely with providers and administrative staff to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and operational functions. Your technical expertise and ability to communicate effectively will make you an asset to our team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead staff in performing clinical or patient care activities.
  2. Coordinate daily operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
  3. Serve as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
  4. Assign, monitor and review progress of work and compliance with policies and/or procedures.
  5. Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates.
  6. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
  7. Work with the providers in the clinic as well as administrative duties.
  8. Design, interpret and implement clinical policies and procedures.

Requirements:

* Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $93,000 - $118,000 per year, depending on experience.
