Forensic Counselor Job Description

Endeavor Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Forensic Counselor to join our team of dynamic and passionate professionals. As a Forensic Counselor, you will work with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, providing comprehensive treatment and support to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices and curriculum.
  • Assess risk and needs for individuals seeking treatment using a comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessment.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to develop strength-based treatment plans.
  • Utilize forensic-based assessment tools, such as Static-99R, Stable-2007, and Acute-2007.
  • Manage an integrated caseload of individuals pursuing forensic, mental health, and substance use goals.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a mental health or social work-related field.
  • Eligibility for licensure within 18 months of hire.
  • One year of direct service experience preferred.
