Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Truck Driver to join our team at Arlington ISD. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for performing various warehouse duties, including driving trucks, making deliveries, filling supply orders, loading/unloading trucks, and assisting warehouse foremen in all warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and fill orders for supplies and equipment, and assist in taking physical inventory.
  • Deliver supplies and equipment, including furniture, and complete work orders as assigned.
  • Assist warehouse foremen in all warehouse operations, including receiving, filling, and delivering orders, and moving furniture and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by managers and/or directors, including filling in all blanks and providing information needed to complete Special Trip Sheets.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Texas driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including three-ton and one-ton trucks, forklifts, pallet trucks, and dollies.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills preferred.
  • Must be physically able to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Working Conditions

This position requires occasional unassisted heavy lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more, as well as excessive unassisted moderate lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. The position also requires excessive reaching, pushing, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, and use of extremities eight hours per day. The employee must be able to see and hear clearly to perform these duties.

The employee will work in all weather conditions and will be exposed to moderate amounts of dust, gasoline fumes, and noise. The employee will also be required to operate warehouse equipment and climb ladders as needed.
