Homestead Home Health Care Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Resident Care Supervisor to join our team. As a key point of contact for residents, business leaders, managers, and families, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that company goals and milestones are met.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of caregivers with a positive attitude and respond to all the needs of the residents.
Maintain employee files, review shift supervisor checklists, and cover open shifts as needed.
Assist residents with care, including dressing, bathing, and toileting, and follow up on issues, review 24-hour logs, and corrective actions for med errors, absences, etc.
Assess any care complaints, pay roll review for missed punches, missed lunches, etc., and follow up.
Enter shift pick-ups and shift trades, create schedules for staff, schedule and interview applicants, and conduct QA audits, review Incident reports/med errors, and put interventions/training in place, involve nurse as necessary.
Meet with each new admit to discuss needs and expectations, audit of med waiver and private pay charting, updates to med waiver counselors, med cart audit every other week, and order clinical supplies.
Requirements:
Prior experience managing a senior living facility (2 years)
Ability to be on-call for all three shifts, as needed
Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations
Proficient in organizational, time management skills, and demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours as needed for resident care/services, must be available to our residents at peak service times and as needed
