Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Adult Care

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to our clients in the Acworth, GA area.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing personal medical care and assistance with daily living activities that improve quality of life for our patients. This includes performing basic first aid, taking vital signs, and assisting with catheter and bowel care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform and assist with medical care, including basic first aid, taking vital signs, and catheter and bowel care
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing
  • Prepare meals according to dietary and nutritional needs
  • Provide hands-on personal care and performance of simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services
  • Observe and report significant changes in patient's condition to the RN Nursing Supervisor
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Current, unrestricted certification or proof of training as required by the state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with aide care and policies and procedures
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License and Acceptable MVR
  • Successful completion of Nurse Aide training and competency evaluation program pursuant to the requirements of 42 CFR part 483, Subpart D
Working Conditions:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will work in a variety of environments, including private homes and facilities, and may be exposed to allergens and other conditions. The ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods is required.
