Job SummaryThe Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing personal medical care and assistance with daily living activities to our clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and assist with medical care, including basic first aid, taking vital signs, and catheter and bowel care.
- Assist with range of motion exercises, ambulation, and transfer of patients using wheelchairs and other medical equipment.
- Prepare meals according to dietary and nutritional needs.
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
- Report significant changes in patient condition to the Nursing Supervisor.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current, unrestricted certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable MVR.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job.
- Experience working with adult clients.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The Certified Nursing Assistant will work in a variety of settings, including private homes and facilities, and may be exposed to allergens and other conditions.
