Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Social Media Manager to oversee our social platforms, stay ahead of trends, optimize content, and drive consumer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a talent for compelling copy, expertise in social media platforms, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Curate, schedule, and publish content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.).
- Engage with followers, foster community interaction, and respond to comments/messages.
- Assist in ideating and creating content for product launches, marketing campaigns, and other initiatives.
- Assist on photoshoots to ensure brand consistency, including concept development, content planning, on-set coordination, capturing behind-the-scenes photos, and handling post-shoot tasks.
- Filter all images post photoshoot, keeping e-commerce and editorial imagery in mind.
- Drive social media growth and engagement in collaboration with brand partnerships and influencers.
- Stay updated on social media trends and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Create compelling content (photos, videos) either independently or with the design team.
- Manage content and editorial calendars to support planned and reactive content.
- Monitor user-generated content and relevant conversations for inspiration and engagement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social media into broader marketing efforts.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance, using data to optimize strategies.
- Support influencer relations by identifying brand advocates and ideating unique activations.
- Lead community engagement and gather feedback on products.
- Provide real-time social support during brand events, including in-person engagement.
- Manage social media tools and analytics platforms, providing insights on marketing performance.
- Plan and schedule content, including weekends and holidays, to maintain a consistent social presence.
- Apply creative and strategic thinking to elevate brand presence across platforms.
- 3-5+ years of experience in content creation and social media management for comparable brands; start-up experience is a plus.
- A passion for swimwear, lifestyle, and fashion.
- Collaborative mindset with a curiosity for generating creative ideas and solutions.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Expertise in social media platforms, publishing/reporting tools, and social media advertising.
- Familiarity with SEO, online marketing strategies, influencer marketing, and community management.
- Experience with data tracking platforms.
- Ability to think outside the box and develop unique social and marketing strategies.
- Thrives in a startup environment with an open-minded and collaborative approach.
Valid driver's license is required.
