Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team at The Salvation Army USA Central Territory. As a key member of our donation center team, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and efficient experience for our donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Maintain a clean and organized donation area, adhering to Salvation Army standards.
  • Receive and process donations, including sorting and loading/unloading trucks.
  • Advise donors on acceptable and unacceptable items, promoting a positive and respectful interaction.
  • Report any incidents or concerns to management in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early shifts, late shifts, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
