About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobility Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team in Pocatello. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physical therapists to provide exceptional patient care while traveling to various healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Patient Care: Assist patients with exercises and rehabilitation programs tailored to their specific needs.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with physical therapists to ensure seamless care.
  • Treatment Environment Preparation: Maintain treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel to different healthcare facilities as needed, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license and certification.
  • Experience in a clinical setting, with a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • An ability to adapt quickly to different healthcare environments, prioritizing flexibility and resilience.
