We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions, as well as provide crisis intervention and stabilization services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress.
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in substance treatment, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Professional licensure required or eligibility to obtain within 2 years of hire.
- Eligibility to be certified as a chemical dependency counselor (CDCI).
- Knowledge of federal confidentiality regulations and requirements.
- Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Native American culture and community.
- Experience working with diverse populations and in a rural or remote setting.
