Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Receptionist to join our team at our Oak Harbor Behavioral Health Clinic. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering phone calls, and performing various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to all visitors and callers, ensuring a positive experience for our patients and families.
  • Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, utilizing our agency's phone system.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, typing, word processing, and data entry.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including patient files and clinic schedules.
  • Provide support to the Site Manager and other staff members as needed, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience using EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus, but not required.
