Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician will perform routine, preventive, and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of production equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.
Key Responsibilities- Perform predictive, preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, and install electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic systems, and centrifugal and diaphragm pumps.
- Calibrate process control equipment, maintain motor starters, variable frequency drives, and servo controls.
- Ability to perform circuit board repairs via circuit board soldering, wiring connectors, multi-conductor cables, and rework techniques through the use of various test equipment.
- Perform assembly of power supplies and other electronic equipment.
- Install and repair PVC and CPVC plumbing, piping, conduit, and raceway systems.
- Perform interior and exterior facilities and building maintenance.
- Document work activities using a computerized maintenance management system.
- High school diploma or GED with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred) or Associate Degree or Certificate equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school in a related field and three years of experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred).
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits in both high and low voltage applications.
- Working knowledge of controls, mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles.
- Basic computer skills (Windows environment).
- Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work overtime as required, including occasional weekend shifts.
- J-STD 001 or ISO 2000 soldering certification or equivalent.
- Proficiency in electro-mechanical, industrial control, servo driven motors and controls, pneumatic, hydraulic, and pump systems.
- Ability to follow assembly drawing and schematics/basic procedures/wire runs lists.
- Experience working with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
