**Job Summary:**

The Los Angeles County Museum Of Natural History Foundation seeks a skilled Finance Administrator to support the Exhibitions department's financial operations. As a key team member, you will provide advanced financially related tasks, including accounting, invoicing, expense account processing, financial system processing, budget management, and reporting.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Office. You will work closely with the AVP, Exhibitions, Associate VP, Exhibitions, and Director of Exhibitions to ensure the smooth operation of financial transactions, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain accurate records.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Process financial documents, including purchase orders, invoices, check requests, expense reports, credit card reports, travel requests, and reconcile petty cash accounts.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for Budget Managers and provide ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed.
  • Manage grants, including active grant budget oversight, documentation, and reporting, ensuring compliance in all financial transactions.
  • Develop, circulate, and track contracts, agreements, and amendments, ensuring proper charging to the correct budget and timely completion.
  • Train staff on general financial procedures, financial software, submission of paperwork, and procurement rules.

**Estimated Salary:** $63,404 - $68,496 per year, plus excellent benefits.
