Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Park Vista. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our residents.

About the Role:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in accordance with standardized recipes and menu plans.
• Plan and organize kitchen operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting food quality standards.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with chefs and other culinary staff to develop new menu ideas and improve existing ones.
• Monitor food costs and inventory levels, making adjustments as necessary to meet budget targets.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding food handling, preparation, and presentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, or healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute kitchen operations efficiently.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, with the ability to develop menus that meet dietary needs and preferences.
• Culinary education or equivalent experience required.
• Licensed to work in the United States.
