Job Summary

The Production Associate plays a vital role in the manufacturing process of bedding products. This position requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to follow standard work methods and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and execute work orders as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
  • Assemble sub-assemblies or finished products from raw materials using various techniques such as sewing, cutting, clipping, hooking, stapling, or other methods.
  • Attach labels and tags to products and packages, ensuring accurate and efficient labeling.
  • Pack finished goods into correct packages and/or boxes, and place them on designated pallets as needed.
  • Monitor and track production progress on the schedule board or computer system, notifying the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to maximize effectiveness and contribute to the company's goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to safely and effectively use work-related equipment and materials.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the supervisor for training and development purposes.
