About the Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology team in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in our Cardiology Suite.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a focus on cardiology and ambulatory care. You will be responsible for handling patient interactions via telephone, providing advice in accordance with clinical protocols, and coordinating proper disposition. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support in our Cardiology Suite
  • Handle patient interactions via telephone, providing advice in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Coordinate proper disposition, including appointments, pre and post procedures, urgent care, inpatient admissions, prescription refills, and test results
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Must be a licensed RN in Massachusetts
  • For newly licensed nurses, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required
  • At least 2 years of experience as a RN preferred
  • Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged
