Position Overview:

As an Associate Project Engineer, you will provide essential technical and administrative support to project leaders, ensuring the successful execution of various projects.

Your responsibilities will include comprehending the complete scope of work for each project assignment, as well as developing and maintaining project controls such as submittals, procurement plans, requests for information (RFIs), and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Project Controls:** Manage submittals, RFIs, and preparation of change orders.
- **Quantity Tracking:** Monitor and document project quantities.
- **Material Specifications:** Prepare specifications for the procurement of materials and equipment.
- **Invoicing:** Responsible for preparing and submitting invoices.
- **O&M Manuals:** Compile and submit operation and maintenance manuals.
- **Estimating Support:** Assist in the development of comprehensive project estimates.
- **KPR Participation:** Engage in Key Project Reviews.
- **Coordination Management:** Oversee coordination and detailing logs and schedules.
- **Schedule Management:** Update and manage project schedules.
- **Productivity Reporting:** Generate and manage productivity reports.
- **Value Engineering:** Identify and implement cost-saving solutions.
Qualifications:


- 0-2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management, preferably from an ABET accredited institution.

Skills and Abilities:

- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Dexterity to reach and manipulate objects with fingers.
- Strong listening skills to comprehend spoken information.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in reading and understanding written information.
- Capability to apply general rules to specific challenges.
- Ability to recognize and understand speech from others.
