Director of Marketing Job Description

Job Summary:

The Director of Marketing is a key leadership role responsible for driving occupancy at Providence Place by developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy. This includes generating leads, increasing sales, and fostering strong relationships with prospects and referral sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a marketing plan with measurable targets across advertising, telemarketing, and community outreach.
  • Make strategic outside sales calls to attract new residents.
  • Host lead-generation programs and community events to drive interest.
  • Conduct educational programs to engage community employees in marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain and update a database of prospects, referral sources, and contacts.
  • Present annual competitive market analysis to the Board of Trustees.
  • Develop and nurture leads through personal appointments, tours, and follow-up communication.
  • Facilitate the leasing process and ensure a warm welcome for new residents.
  • Serve as a liaison between Providence Place and other community services supporting senior independence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in senior housing sales, with a proven track record.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and database software (REPS).
  • Experience in non-profit senior housing is a plus.
