Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angioplasty, stenting, and other cardiovascular interventions.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies.
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
