Overview:
The Aviation Maintenance Specialist (AMS) is tasked with the upkeep and repair of aircraft to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for the maintenance and preventive upkeep of aircraft, components, and equipment.
Assess the airworthiness of aircraft and components, adhering to established protocols and Federal Aviation Regulations.
Service and examine aircraft, components, and associated equipment.
Execute aircraft jacking, lifting, towing, and manual maneuvering.
Operate and evaluate powered and non-powered ground equipment.
Conduct structural repairs, inspecting and identifying areas for prevention and remediation.
Complete aircraft maintenance documentation and input data into the Maintenance Data System, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
Exhibit behavior in line with Endeavor Air's Code of Conduct in all business dealings and decisions.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Must possess a valid Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) Mechanics license
Preferred professional experience in the aviation maintenance sector
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail
Strong work ethic, reliability, self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a customer service focus
Willingness to travel internationally and the ability to obtain a passport within three months of hire; passport expenses are the responsibility of the employee
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
Must hold a valid driver's license and, if the position requires the use of company vehicles, must be insurable under company insurance policies
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
A uniform is mandatory; Endeavor Air provides a uniform allowance.
Safety footwear is required, with costs covered by the employee.
Work is conducted at airports, outstations, and various repair material vendors.
Requires interaction with staff and business relationships with management personnel.
Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
Physical exertion may include:
pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of items not exceeding 50 lbs.
Must be capable of using ladders, work stands, lifts, etc., and be able to access all areas of the aircraft as required during the performance of duties.Must not have any medical conditions that would prevent certification for aircraft run/taxi of company aircraft and vehicles.
Some travel may be necessary.
