As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, your responsibilities will include supporting and managing repairs within the Walmart facilities' Refrigeration HVAC equipment team. You will utilize your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration expertise along with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete your tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair the Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets of Walmart facilities by applying your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration knowledge and utilizing various tools to accomplish tasks.
  • Use the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders to assist Stores and Store associates, documenting all repair activities.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to identify issues.
  • Complete all necessary training to ensure safe operation of equipment and tools.
  • Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations by performing work according to Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
  • Be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds, navigating ladders, and working comfortably at heights on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
  • Experience with Large Scale Rack Refrigeration.
  • Type I and Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling.
  • Journeyman License.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
  • Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
