Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our construction/roofing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Directly oversee management of the operations and logistics.
- Plan, prioritize, assign, and review the work of the field crews.
- Supervise job scheduling, coordinate requirements for the job, complete job files, supervise production, and monitor jobs from start to finish to ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Monitor and follow-up on all assigned jobs to ensure that customer needs are met.
- Develop and implement operational policies and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed on construction sites.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that project requirements are met.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance and sales, to ensure that projects are delivered successfully.
- Provide regular progress reports to management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management, with experience in managing construction teams and overseeing multiple projects.
- Previous managerial/supervisory experience required.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Must possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects utilizing organizational skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility regarding timely and accurate completion of work, and a strong commitment to corporate goals.
- Must be capable of functioning in a fast-paced, demanding working environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction project management software.
