As a Certified Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist to provide various personal care services, including:

  • Observing patients and reporting observations
  • Documenting observations and care performed
  • Providing assistance with daily living and personal care activities
  • Administering simple prescribed medications
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting on their condition
  • Maintaining patient care records and documenting provided services
  • Assisting patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
  • Instructing and counseling patients and families on diet and exercise
  • Collecting routine specimens
  • Providing companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Medicare-certified home health aide certification
  • Certified Home Health Aide certification
  • At least one year of experience working at a Medicare-certified home healthcare agency
  • A flexible schedule, including weekend availability
  • A valid driver's license
  • A high school degree
