About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled User Researcher to join our team at IBM. As a User Researcher, you will play a critical role in uncovering insights that inform product decisions and drive business outcomes.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct rigorous research studies to understand user behavior, preferences, and pain points. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify research opportunities, design and implement research methods, and analyze data to generate actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct primary and secondary research to gather user data and insights
  • Design and implement research methods to capture qualitative and quantitative data
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Communicate research findings to stakeholders through compelling stories and recommendations
  • Collaborate with product teams to inform product decisions and drive business outcomes

Requirements:

  • Foundational understanding of UX research principles and methods
  • Experience with conducting primary and secondary research
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with research tools such as UserZoom, survey tooling, and Optimal Workshop
  • Awareness of inclusive design practices and accessibility standards
  • Degree in Psychology, Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Sociology, Behavioral Economics, or related field
