Key Responsibilities- Operational Oversight: Manage the unit's operations to ensure efficient patient care delivery. This includes overseeing patient assignments and conducting daily rounds to monitor care quality.
- Staff Management: Enhance patient and employee satisfaction while promoting safety and retention. Act as a resource for clinical expertise, assisting staff and physicians with problem-solving.
- Quality Improvement: Coordinate initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and aligning with performance metrics.
- Leadership Development: Foster leadership skills among staff, encouraging participation in their own professional growth and career advancement.
- Team Collaboration: Facilitate unit meetings and support shared governance and leadership efforts.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing operational and capital budgets, ensuring optimal resource management for the department.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) and a current RN license in the state of practice.
- Requires at least 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience is preferred.
