Clinical Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Clinical Manager Home Health is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of a specific location, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements clinical operations plans to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
- Conducts assessments and reassessments of patients, updates care plans, and interprets patient needs in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Manages the assignment of caregivers and oversees the delivery of care to all patients served by the location.
- Reviews patient information, determines home health or hospice needs, and makes decisions regarding patient admission and care assignment.
- Provides guidance and support to clinicians to promote effective performance and delivery of quality home care services.
- Monitors cases to ensure documentation is in compliance with regulatory agencies and requirements of third-party payers.
- Coordinates communication between team members, attending physicians, and caregivers to ensure the appropriateness of care and outcome planning.
- Supervises clinical employees, responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the location.
- Participates in sales and marketing initiatives, and handles employee corrective action and discipline issues fairly and objectively.
- Assesses staff education needs, creates and conducts regular staff education, and analyzes situations to identify problems and evaluate alternative courses of action.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Proof of current CPR.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Two years as a Registered Nurse with at least one-year of management experience in a home care, hospice, or equivalent environment.
- Minimum two years experience in home care.
- Experience with OASIS.
