Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate support for the FOG leadership team, enabling them to focus on priority tasks.
  • Build and nurture relationships with all FOG personnel to better anticipate and address their needs.
  • Act as an advocate for FOG leaders and team members.
  • Conduct regular meetings with FOG Directors to influence strategy, contribute to development, and represent the FOG leadership team.
  • Organize events, off-site meetings, prepare agendas, manage calendars and inboxes, report expenses, and coordinate travel for the FOG leadership team.
  • Oversee FOG Operations and ensure successful outcomes for team and organizational initiatives.
  • Support the recruitment and screening processes.
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations regarding team and organizational matters.
  • Collaborate with FOG team members and leaders to offer leadership, insights, and administrative assistance.
  • Onboard new staff, interns, and volunteers effectively.
  • Recruit and engage volunteers and interns, including communication, appreciation, and team coordination.
  • Deliver training and communicate effectively, both internally and externally, by providing agendas and relevant content for various audiences.
Essential Skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make independent decisions and solve problems creatively and diplomatically.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to articulate complex processes and foster collaborative relationships.
  • Proficient in multitasking and time management to meet tight deadlines while remaining adaptable to change.
  • Skilled in process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide direction to projects.
  • Excellent listening skills, capable of engaging with others to understand their perspectives, needs, and inquiries, thereby facilitating effective communication and fostering positive professional relationships.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
