Event EMT Team Lead Position
PART-TIME Opportunity
Location: San Francisco, California
We are seeking a Team Lead for Event EMTs who will serve as a key resource leader overseeing teams of medical personnel at various events. This role may involve acting as a shift supervisor when necessary. The successful candidate will collaborate with both internal staff and venue representatives to achieve established objectives, ensuring optimal patient care and event safety across major sporting events, concerts, and remote sites in the San Francisco area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide recommendations to enhance training and quality assurance programs, including updates to study materials and operational policies.
- Assist in creating, implementing, and revising site plans and emergency action protocols.
- Deliver outstanding patient care and customer service as a team leader.
- Evaluate and address performance issues among team members to meet organizational standards.
- Conduct training and assessments for new and existing staff.
- Serve as an educational resource for field personnel and management.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and assist current employees with evolving job responsibilities.
- Identify potential risks and take appropriate measures to mitigate them.
- Document all activities and provide detailed reports to management.
- Assess each situation to determine the most effective response and protocol.
- Communicate site requirements and supply needs to management on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on ongoing projects and operations.
- Assume leadership for scene management as required.
- Operate the on-duty vehicle as necessary.
- Act as the site or venue lead as designated by management.
- Educate team members on new and updated information as needed.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in information systems security training when available.
- Report any information systems security issues.
- Mentor staff, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate team development for positive outcomes.
- Promote affirmative action initiatives in all employment aspects, including hiring, training, and promotions.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 2 to 3 years of field experience as an EMT is required, with prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Current and valid EMT certification, state-approved CPR certification, BLS card, and Driver's License are mandatory.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, along with a proficient understanding of local geography, protocols, and CrowdRx policies.
