Position Overview:
The Office Operations Analyst will support the Music Department Chair, faculty members, and students with a variety of financial responsibilities, scheduling tasks, and administrative functions. A background in basic accounting is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Music Department Chair in managing and maintaining departmental budget records.
- Prepare documentation for compensating adjunct faculty, graduate assistants, and guest artists.
- Handle travel requests and reimbursements for faculty and students.
- Compile and submit monthly financial reports for the department.
- Support students by resolving advising holds and issuing necessary permits.
- Facilitate event planning as well as classroom scheduling, access, and utilization.
- Welcome and guide visitors, manage phone inquiries, and respond to common questions.
- Ensure adequate supplies for the department by ordering, receiving, and organizing necessary items.
- Procure music and other materials for ensembles and individual faculty members.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the department.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours may be required based on departmental needs.
Consistent and dependable attendance is expected.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in public administration, business administration, or a related discipline is required.
Relevant education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of these basic qualifications, subject to approval by the qualifications review committee.
