HSE and Quality Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Quality assistance to the operational site.
- Formulate and uphold safe operational protocols.
- Oversee all HSE documentation, manage the HSE Training Database, and address general HSE inquiries.
- Support compliance evaluations, general risk assessments, and other safety evaluations to enhance HSE and Quality standards.
- Administer all Quality documentation.
- Compile relevant HSE and Quality reports as required.
- Provide practical support within the operational facility.
- Engage with HSE and Quality divisions as necessary for additional assistance.
- Execute any other job-related responsibilities as assigned by the Drill Bit Repair Manager.
- Adhere to all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Assist the local facility with database compliance and record management. This is a full-time hourly role with 15% travel involved.
- Support the Drill Bit Repair Manager with daily administrative tasks.
- Conduct data entry tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Teams, and other software applications.
- Perform administrative functions such as drafting memos, recording meeting minutes, faxing, photocopying, and distributing documents to relevant parties.
- Maintain safety and quality data, ensuring databases are current.
- Oversee tracking systems as necessary.
- Generate monthly safety and quality data reports, along with monthly and quarterly safety statistics.
- Manage hazard identification tracking and prepare monthly reports.
- Maintain a tracking system for all safety, equipment, and industry alerts.
- Physical activity is required, including the ability to remain on feet for 8-12 hours and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- This is a full-time hourly position with 15% travel involved.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
- Experience in data entry is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft programs are essential.
- Experience in Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory is advantageous.
